How can owners keep the "good as new" look of these products for a lifetime of beauty and service?

Precision Marble recommends for its products:
Use liquid cleaners such as window cleaner or any such non-abrasive cleaner for regular cleaning to remove mineral deposits and soap scum. Restore dull surfaces by using a liquid cleaning compound (such as is used for cars), followed by a light application of liquid wax or paste. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, scouring pads, scrapers, or sandpaper on any part of the surface. Occasionally, Gel Gloss (available in most major hardware stores) is an excellent way to clean and seal your cultured marble vanity top for years of beauty.
To remove built-up hair spray, paint, tar, and difficult stains from the surface, use turpentine, denatured alcohol, or paint thinner. Be careful not to use turpentine or paint thinner on the hydro jets in a spa or plated components- damage to the plastic coatings may result.
To remove plaster or construction residue, scrape the surface slightly with a wooden edge and wash with liquid detergent. Never use wire brushes or metal tools on any part of the cultured marble surfaces.
If the stain is from hard water or mineral deposits, try using a cleaner for removing iron, calcium, or other such mineral deposits that are in your water supply. Most cleaning chemicals will not damage the gel coat as long as label instructions are followed.
DO NOT use water heated over 135 degrees.

If I have a scratch on my vanity top, is it repairable?

Yes!  That is the good news.  You may have the tools at your house to do it yourself, or they are available at your local hardware store. We recommend viewing this video and following the steps to do the repair on your vanity if it is necessary. You can also call our office and we can help walk you through the steps.

What is the difference between a gloss and matte finish?

Many customers ask what is the difference between a gloss and a matte finish. Both are manufactured using the same process. The gloss or matte finish is created during the finishing of the vanity top.  Our samples are shown in a gloss finish, as that is our standard finish.  If you’d like to see a matte finish, please give us a call, we would be happy to send you one so you can make a good decision on your final selection.

Detail your services

If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. Clearly list and describe the services you offer. Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.

Gloss Versus Matte Finish

Many customers ask what the difference between a gloss and a matte finish is. Both are manufactured using the same process. The gloss or matte finish is created during the finishing of the vanity top.

Gloss Finish:
High Sheen shiny finish, most similar to true stone. Our tops come off of the mold in a gloss finish and get touched up using a buffer and buffing compound. This is the standard finish for our vanity tops.

Matte finish:
Honed or Satin look, created by using industry-specific sanding paper. This is similar to how solid surface tops are finished. Helps you to achieve that look at a fraction of the cost.
